Epiphany’s next Hamburger Sunday will take place on the Fifth Sunday of May (May 31st). In the past, I have sometimes used Hamburger Sunday as an opportunity to financially support special causes. Through your generosity, Epiphany has assisted with Tornado Relief in Oklahoma and Vacation Bible School in Navaho Land. At the last Vestry Meeting, it was decided that Epiphany should do something to help defray some of G. Nora’s medical expenses, who was involved in a car accident that required months of being hospitalized. Therefore, I would like to use any contributions received from Hamburger Sunday to help the Nora family. I will match Hamburger Sunday donations from the Rector’s Discretionary Fund for this worthy cause.
Volunteers are needed to help with the cooking for Hamburger Sunday. If interested, please contact Fr. Matt or the Church Office.
