Many thanks to Ms. Alice who hosted this week’s Home Communion. You are such a gracious host, and it was a privilege to celebrate the Eucharist in your home.
Such gatherings are certainly similar to the experience of the early followers of Jesus who gathered in the homes of Christians before the advent of church buildings. Thank you.
And don’t forget to mark your calendar for the next Home Communion which will be held in the home of John and Mimi on Thursday, August 27th beginning around 6 p.m. If you plan on attending, please call the Church Office so that we might have an idea as to how many will be attending.
The format will be the celebration of the Eucharist followed by a light meal. It will be a time of wonderful hospitality, sharing and community building.
